CAPA Academy

Hey guys! Thanks to everyone who checked out my first blog and gave me some feedback. That is very much appreciated!! (:

Attention everyone! The co op mall has now been fully installed! What does a co op mall mean, you may ask? Co op means instead of having separate shops with items all from the same brand, we would have categorized shops.

Right now shop renters are basically paying for a full 50 prim, when renters don't even use this many prims! Therefore, they are wasting their own hard earned money.
This store will help people choose carefully about what they sell and they won't just chuck in a bunch of things that they don't even want to sell in their stores.

We all know what you're thinking, but no worries, your brand name will not go away. We will put up a board in the landing area that will show the different designers. Here, the designers will have the option to provide a logo for your store, and they can attach a note card about the products they will be selling. You will also not have to share profits with other designers.
This particular system will increase traffic, therefore meaning there will be more people viewing your items and there will be a decrease in the cost you have to pay to set up your prims.
The categories that would be included are as follows:
  • Shapes, Skins, and Beauty
  • Wedding and Other Gifts
  • Women's Fashion (Which are split into categories!)
  • Jewelry and Accessoriese
  • Poses, Animations, Props, and Dancers
  • Furniture
  • Buildings, Skyboxes, and Structures
  • Misc., Weapons, Vehicles, and Fun
  • Builders Supplies
  • Costumes
  • Shoes
  • Hair
  • Male Fashion
The partnership with Silverlights Modeling Agency and Academy has been completed! Kizarma is also looking for in-store models, so see Pure Silvershade or get an application in the Kizarma store's front desk if you are interested!

Silverlight Modeling Academy is the most friendly and welcoming academy there is, no matter what state you come in. We always treat you like beauty queens. We will even give you free modeling advice. Our modeling trainers and managers are all very experienced, and are here to give you the very best training they can offer you.

Drop-ins are always welcome, but not advised due to confusion of the course. If you do attend as a drop-in you will not be alotted a graduation, so if you wish to graduate, please be dedicated and attend all lessons. We will not track down the individuals so please be dedicated. It only takes 3-4 weeks to turn you into a Top Model, so try to hold your attention for a few weeks and be dedicated. Some things you will learn in Silverlight's, are as follows:
  • Introduction to the Modeling World
  • Rules, Tips, and Tricks for the Runway and Catwalk
  • Discovery of you as a model
  • Inventory and Shopping Rules
  • What a Top Model's Expectations Are
  • Professional Advice
  • Practical Work
Want to enroll in this awesome class? Here's how: First, fill in the application for the modeling class. You can find an application in the CAPA office. Send your application to Pure Silvershade and to the teacher whose class you wish to enroll in. The enrollment fee is absolutely free. That means that the whole 3-4 weeks course is completely free, you guys! Although this only applies to the basic class. Sorry to say, but there are no drop-ins what-so-ever allowed in this class. You must fill out an application to get in this course.

Training classes will not be repeated apart from the two alotted times of the week that Pure has set aside. Two classes a week will be repeated just in case anyone misses a lesson. IMPORTANT: Please be online to see group notices about the time slots, and please try to be to class on time!
Onto scheduling! Here is a list of this weeks, classes:
  • Fashion Design class is not on a weekly schedule anymore! Fashion Design classes will be announced in group notices by either Gypsy Lysette or Pure Silvershade. Fashion is a free class, and all ages are more than welcome to attend. Walk-ins are also welcome anytime!
  • Second Life Video class is this Wednesday and Thursday at 4pm SLT.
  • CAPA Dance Team dates are still to be announced. Shows and productions will be announced both on this blog, and in group notices, so please pay attention to those if you are interested!
  • The Culinary Arts class is no longer on a weekly schedule. Classes will be announced in group notices by either Gypsy Lysette, or Pure Silvershade, so again, please pay attention and take the two seconds to read those notices, as they will include important information!
  • DJing class is this Thursday at 5pm SLT. Please be on time.
  • Attention everyone interested in the CAPA Soccer Team! The soccer coach is looking for new members! Anyone interested, please contact Cooper Steampunk! The soccer team is coming soon, so join as soon as you can if you are interested.
  • Ballet class is this Thursday at 6pm. Sorry for the inconvenience last week. I will update this if I am notified of any changes in scheduling by Thursday so no one will take the time to show up if class is cancelled for the week. Sorry again, everyone.
Please check out next week's blog for next week's information! Any questions about the above information, please contact either Gypsy Lysette, Pure Silvershade, Hope Savagard, or if it is a question about a course, you may contact the above people, or you can contact the teacher directly about the course you are wondering about! Check with you all later! Bye! (:
